Recently, Tory Lanez revealed plans of starting his own alkaline water, “Umbrella Water.” The Toronto artist also said he would be distributing this water to citizens of Louisiana and Texas in the aftermath of the damage those states suffered from the February winter weather that hit them.
On Wednesday, Lanez took to his social media feeds to show the water being distributed as well as him getting to Shreveport, Louisiana. He will then make stops in Texas to make sure that the local citizens there are able to get their hands on the Umbrella Water.
“IT TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN EXPECTED BUT ……….. ***UMBRELLA ALKALINE WATER*** IS OFFICIALLY HERE !! …. FIRST THING IM DOING TODAY IS FLYING TO LOUISIANA AND TEXAS …. GOING TO MAKE SURE I PERSONALLY GIVE THE WATER TO PEOPLE STILL IN NEED OF WATER … LOVE.”
Lanez went on to post footage of himself in Shreveport as others helped him distribute the water. In addition to Louisiana and Texas, he will also make sure the water gets to Flint, MI, as that city has struggled to receive clean water since the spring of 2014. The local government hasn’t made the right moves needed to get this clean water to its citizens and now, celebrities such as Lanez continue to use their own position of success to help those who need it.
