Tory Lanez said on Thursday that he would address allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion at 9pm PT and many assumed that he would get on Instagram Live. It turns out, he spoke on the rumors by releasing a new album titled “Daystar,” which his is actual first name.
The Toronto rapper said Megan’s friends set him up on the intro song, “Money Over Fallouts.” He also seemed salty about how Kehlani took off his verse on her sit single, “Can I.” JoJo was another star who took Lanez off of her song, which was “Comeback.” He also took aim at former NBA star, JR Smith for his criticism. Lanez mentioned Smith’s shooting percentage.
Lanez went on to call out other stars who bashed him for supposedly shooting Megan such as Bun B, Masika and Asian Doll. Megan fans on Twitter continued to try to cancel him by encouraging others to stream all of her projects. He is facing much criticism for releasing an album as opposed to speaking on the incident on a live platform. At this point, Lanez has had the biggest downfall of 2020.
