Tory Lanez violated Megan Thee Stallion protective order
Last year, Tory Lanez was being investigated on if he violated a protective order. This was regarding being 100 feet near Megan Thee Stallion, at the Rolling Loud festival. Tory was brought on stage by DaBaby. This all came after Megan accused Tory of shooting her, back in July 2020.
According to Nancy Dillon of Rolling Stone, Tory was in court today, and was found guilty of violating the order. Judge David Herriford also believed that many of Tory’s social media posts were subliminally about Megan. Tory’s has since been put in jail, and is bond is set at a whopping $350,000. Bail was originally proposed at $5 million.
“Tory Lanez was handcuffed in court and remanded to custody until he posts new bail of $350,000 in Megan Thee Stallion felony assault case. Judge found him in violation of discovery protective order and personal contact order.”
A trial date is now set for September 14. Tory originally plead not guilty to felony assault and carrying an unregistered firearm, in November 2020. He has since maintained that he wasn’t the one who shot Megan on that night, in Los Angeles. Tory faces 22 years and eight months in prison, if convicted.
