Yesterday, ESPN “parted ways” with NBA analyst and former league great, Paul Pierce. This came after being on Instagram Live a few days before where he was seen smoking and having multiple strippers during the stream. He has since said that bigger things are on the way.
Many people are reacting to the news in a surprising way as they can’t believe Pierce decided to lose his job over this. Celebrities are starting to react as well as one is Tory Lanez. He left a comment under DJ Akademiks’ post about Pierce as he said “Damn.. he thought he was me ….. NBA give my man one more chance.”
As many remember, Tory started to go on Instagram Live last year and did “Quarantine Radio.” This was during the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders as he brought celebs on and also twerking women. Tory briefly brought it back on Halloween as well. Maybe Tory would bring Pierce on his IG Live for a collab soon.
As for what Pierce may do next, many believe he could go to FS1. Even if he takes some time off, he should be okay. He made over $200 million in his NBA career and was pocketing ESPN money after.
