Tory Lanez Shows Spotify Love After Originally Calling Out Streaming Services For Not Making It Easier For Listeners To Find His New “Playboy” R&B Album

Over the weekend, Tory Lanez took to his Instagram feed to express frustration with streaming services. This is due to them not promoting his new R&B “Playboy” album and not showing it much on their apps for listeners. Lanez explained how he simply wants to be treated fairly as an independent artist and has a Black-owned business.

Lanez has now taken to his social media feeds to reveal that everything is all good with Spotify. He said that he “lost his cool” and that’s wasn’t cool. This is after posting a graphic of Spotify displaying the Playboy album on their “Top Debut Albums” chart for 3/5-3/7. Lanez does want to get on more playlists again, though.

“Aight aight @Spotify ima chill .. i lost my cool and that wasn’t cool . ThankYou For showing my fans we made TOP charts ..0 PLAYLIST … with a CAPSULE .. I know in due time .. I will be able to be on the playlist again and my music will get the shine and views it deserves .. 🙏🏾“

Playboy contains 12 songs in total as it served as the “R&B capsule.” It’s one of the various albums he’s putting out of different genres. Playboy was led by the “Feels” single featuring Chris Brown.
