Tory Lanez sentencing date gets delayed again

In December, Tory Lanez’s trial regarding his 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting case finally concluded. He went on to be convicted of all three felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, negligent discharge of a firearm. As a result, that conviction was soon followed by Tory’s father ranting outside of the courtroom, all while blaming Roc Nation for that result.

Tory has since been incarcerated in a local LA prison. He was initially supposed to be sentenced in late January, but that soon got delayed to February 28. However, this sentencing date is now facing now facing another delay.

According to Meghann Cuniff of LA Magazine, Tory will be could be sentenced sometime in March or April instead.

“Tory Lanez is scheduled to be sentenced next Tuesday for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. “The notice from LA Courts just now calls it only a ‘hearing.’ DA Alex Bott tells me, ‘No firm date yet but likely a date in late March to mid April.’”

Therefore, Tory is facing 22 years in prison, as that is a huge possibility, due to him being convicted on all counts. The Toronto rapper had firmly denied his involvement in this shooting, ever since Megan Thee Stallion made the claim that he shot her.
