Tory Lanez’s sentencing hearing date is postponed again, to April 10

Tory Lanez’s sentencing date postponed again to April 10

Tory Lanez was convicted on three felony counts, in December, in his 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. Among these convicted charges are discharging a firearm with gross negligence, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm. Tory has since been held in an LA jail, and been awaiting sentencing.

Tory was initially set to be sentenced in late January, but was postponed to February 28. However, information soon surfaced that that may be delayed again, to March or April.

As a result, a hearing was held on Tuesday. Therefore, it’s now been revealed that Tory’s new sentencing date is April 10, according to TMZ. Tory was reportedly in court in an orange jail jumpsuit, and didn’t request an attempt at posting bond.

Fans have also since noticed that Tory’s name is still listed on the lineup for Rolling Loud California’s festival in Inglewood, occurring this weekend. Obviously, based on Tory’s current circumstances, a performance likely isn’t taking place, at all. Prior to his incarceration, he released his new “Sorry 4 What” album, in the fall. He’d also been very consistent with single releases, on his “Fargo Fridays.”
