Tory Lanez’s wife files for divorce after less than a year of marriage

Tory Lanez is currently serving 10 years in prison, after initially being found guilty, in December 2022, of shooting Megan Thee Stallion. The Toronto rapper was initially sentenced to these 10 years, in August of 2023. Tory was found guilty of all three felonies, which included assault with a semiautomatic firearm, discharging a firearm with gross negligence, and carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

Meanwhile, Tory is now facing even more misfortunes. His wife of less than a year, Raina Chassagne, is now divorcing him, according to TMZ. Chaasgne reportedly filed divorce documents last week, and cited irreconcilable differences, for the split. In addition to the divorce, she is seeking legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son, Kai. Tory Lanez and Raina Chassagne initially got married on June 23, 2023.

Shortly after Tory Lanez’ sentencing, he went on to be denied his request for bond. He is currently being held at North Kern State Prison in Delano, CA. Tory has also reportedly been placed in the general population, at his request. That came after initially being secluded, after his initial arrival.
