Trae Tha Truth arrested after assault of ZRo in the summer
Back in August, Trae Tha Truth and his crew were seen attacking fellow Houston legend Z-Ro. This was during 50 Cent’s Tycoon Weekend, at the time. During that incident, Trae supposedly wanted to speak to Z-Ro about a matter, and that’s when Trae’s crew soon suddenly ambushed him with a sucker punch. This was unusual, considering how philanthropic Trae is in Houston and other cities.
Trae downplayed anything of this situation happening, but isn’t anymore. He reportedly turned himself into Houston authorities, on December 29. This comes after Z-Ro reportedly pressed charges against him, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Trae was officially charged with misdemeanor for assault causing bodily injury. ZRo initially spoke to Fox 26 about what happened, and emphasized that he was attacked, following the sucker punch.
“It’s Trae tha Truth. Yeah, he asked me to, after I was finished doing what I was doing with a fan, to come and speak to him,” Z-Ro said. “So, I went over there with the intentions of speaking, and speech is not where we’re going. That’s not what took place, speech. So, it was a lot of, like I said, I was sucker punched and then I was jumped after the sucker punch.”
