Delivering a new sound and immediately gaining the respect of rap veterans, Future has emerged as a big name in rap, early in his career. Already, Future has worked with Drake and T.I., with plans of featuring them, along with Snoop Dogg and R. Kelly on Pluto, his debut album. Along with those collaborations, Future is paying respect to those who came before him. He recruited Trae Tha Truth for his Pimp C tribute.
Future spoke with XXL about his album last week. During his interview, Future mentioned the collaboration with Trae Tha Truth. The Atlanta rapper said the collaboration would be one of the biggest of 2012. XXL decided to reach out to Trae Tha Truth for his opinion about the collaboration, a tribute to Pimp C. A native of Texas, it means a lot to Trae Tha Truth, and hip hop fans, to see him being a part of this tribute.
Speaking with XXL about the collaboration, Trae Tha Truth said it is something the whole Southern hip hop scene can enjoy.
