Trae Young is currently having another amazing season for himself, as he’s currently averaging 26 points, nine assists, and four rebounds per game. The Atlanta Hawks are also currently still playing solid basketball, despite battling a myriad of injuries, like last season.
Trae is also active on Twitter, and decided to respond to a Hawks beat reporter on Wednesday. This is Chris Kirschner, who works for The Athletic. He recently published an article that criticizes the Hawks’ defense, and it didn’t go well with fans at all.
A fan went on to say that they won’t pay $4.99 per month, to read Kirschner’s articles. Kirschner soon disrespectfully replied “Cool. Say you’re broke and continue about your day.” For many, this was understandably viewed aa very unprofessional, by a sports reporter.
Trae soon came across Kirschner’s reply to the fan, and let him know as well, how unprofessional this was.
“Smh, who says this?!? I ain’t buying that article.. what that make me?!🤔🤡 #NextQuestion.”
Fans have since believed that Kirschner may be losing his job, at The Athletic, soon. This wouldn’t be a surprise, considering how he handled this reply.
