Trae Young tells Charles Barkley to eat a Twinkie after All-Star criticism

Tonight, the NBA announced the starters, for their upcoming All-Star Game, in Cleveland. In the Eastern Conference, Trae Young, Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid were listed as the starters.

Inside The NBA” host, Charles Barkley, didn’t believe that Young deserved the starting spot. The NBA legend tried to cite the Hawks’ current 12th place record, despite their current 5-game winning streak, and Young averaging 27 points and nine assists per game.

Young ended up taking to Twitter, to thank his fans, as well as calling out Barkley for criticizing him.

“Truly Blessed!! Thank you to the Fans ALWAYS LOVE!! 2X!! Chuck eat a Twinkie and be quiet sometimes.”

During Inside The NBA though, Barkley and the rest of the crew were able to laugh at the tweet, and Barkley dealt with the response. Check it out below.
