This morning, Donald Trump was at it again, on Twitter. When he was on the campaign trail, Trump promised to maintain and protect the rights of the transgender community. He turns around and says he wants to ban them from the military, this morning.
Because of Trump being the president and his political party being in power, the transgender community is up in arms. Meanwhile, members of the other, Democratic, party, have begun to step up. At the top of that list is Kamala Harris, the new US Senator from California.
Kamala Harris was vocal during the Jeff Sessions controversy and she’s vocal again. Holding nothing back, towards the president, Kamala Harris called President Trump out for discrimination. Then, she said she stands with the transgender community to serve in the military.
