Since 2010, Kanye West has remained an ever-present figure in the hip hop scene, releasing three albums in as many years. However, Kanye West’s follow-up album only was a collaborative album with Jay-Z in Watch the Throne. Parts of Cruel Summer played out like a solo album from Kanye West.
Over the past year, Kanye West has shifted much of his focus into G.O.O.D. Music. Among the new artists signed to the label include Travi$ Scott. While holding the Kanye West-led label down, Travi$ Scott went on to also join T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records. In several interviews, Travi$ Scott has mentioned being a part of both labels.
During his interview with MTV News, Travi$ Scott talked about the upcoming new music from the label. Whether or not Cruel Winter comes out remains anyone’s guess, but it seems apparent Kanye West will release a new album. Travi$ Scott spoke on it and he said Kanye West is in the year 3000 with his music.
