Travis Scott’s alleged assault led to man being in hospital
It was reported on Wednesday, that Travis Scott allegedly punched a man at the New York City nightclub Nebula, in Manhattan. This was supposedly in the early hours of Wednesday, as Travis also caused $12,000 worth of damage to a speaker and video screen. The man injured was a sound engineer at Nebula. At the time, Travis was there to attend his Cactus Jack artist Don Toliver’s concert, as he released his new “Love Sick” album, last week, and the deluxe edition, this week.
Fox 5 NY went on to speak to this victim, who identified himself as Mark. As a result, he revealed that he sustained arm and neck injuries. Therefore, he even has problems with being able to move his neck. The NYPD has since been investigating for assault and criminal mischief.
“My neck is f**ked up,” said Mark. My arm is tingling. I have pins and needles going down it.”
Mark added that what caused the incident was Travis playing the DJ’s music so loud, that the sound was distorted. Mark attempted to turn it down, and as a result, that caused Travis to go off.
“[Travis] “stuck his middle finger in my face, so I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.”
Travis, lawyer, Mitchell Schuster has also spoken to TMZ. He states that this incident was a “a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation.” Schuster also firmly believes that Travis will be “cleared of any wrongdoing.”
