Travis Scott and McDonald’s Officially Announce Collaboration on “Travis Scott Meal” Launching September 8

Travis Scott’s collaboration with McDonald’s has been gaining a lot of buzz and the discussions have been when will it officially happen. The Houston rapper announced on his Twitter feed that it will go down on September 8 as the “Travis Scott meal” will be sold.

According to PR News Wire, the meal will include a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, bacon lettuce; a medium fries with BBQ Sauce, and a Sprite. This will be sold nationwide for $6. This will also mark the first time that someone has their own meal at McDonald’s since Michael Jordan in 1992.

“Everyone has a favorite McDonald’s meal, no matter who you are,” said McDonald’s U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, Morgan Flatley regarding the collaboration with Scott. “Travis is a true McDonald’s fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world. This is the first time in nearly 30 years we’ve introduced a superstar’s name to our menu – we’re excited to bring the Travis Scott Meal to a McDonald’s near you starting next week.”

Scott also released a statement expressing how excited he is for his meal to be launching on September 8.

“I couldn’t be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald’s collaboration to life,” said Scott. “We are bringing together two iconic worlds. Including a charitable component was key for me, and I can’t wait for people to see what we have in store.”
