Travis Scott breaks Spotify record for monthly listeners as a rapper

Last month, Travis Scott finally delivered his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Utopia.” This was Travis’ first studio album since August 2018’s “Astroworld,” as the demand was very real on social media.

As a result, Travis had a massive first week with Utopia. It debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, as it sold 500,000 units in its first week. Furthermore, it spent a second consecutive week at number one, a week ago. Therefore, it’s also projected that a third week will be official, week. On Utopia, Travis released 19 songs, including collaborations with Drake, SZA, 21 Savage, Rob49, The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, and more.

Utopia is also Travis’ third consecutive number one album, and also released his “Circus Maximus” film in AMC Theaters. Circus Maximus is also the title of one of the songs on Utopia, as well as the film he released in AMC Theaters. In addition to these, Travis also performed at the Circus Maximus venue in Rome, Italy, this month.

Meanwhile, Travis also continues to set major streaming records. According to Chart Data, he just broke the all-time record for most monthly listeners for a rapper in Spotify history. This is as a result of eclipsing 74.945 million monthly listeners.
