Travis Scott, Big Sean & more headline day one of Summer Smash

On Friday afternoon, the annual Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash Festival kicked off outside the Chicago area, in Ridgeview, as Hip-HopVibe was on site. This was held in and outside of SeatGeek Stadium, which hosts various concert and sporting events.

Early in the afternoon, Summer Smash was kicked off by perfomances from VonOff1700, BLP Kosher, and others. Leading into the evening, plenty of more electric performances were led by Flo Milli, Big Sean, That Mexican OT, Famous Dex, and others.

The final performance of the night was headlined by Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack record label, This featured himself, SoFaygo, Don Toliver, and Sheck Wes. SoFaygo, Don and Wes built plenty of momentum, leading up to Travis’ performance. Moreover, Friday also featured Don Toliver releasing his new Hardstone Psycho” album, which contains 19 tracks, including features from Travis Scott, Future, Kodak Black, Cash Cobain, and more.

In Travis Scott’s Summer Smash set, he performed various hits from his “Utopia” album and 2023 Billboard 200 chart-topping “Utopia” album. These included “Butterfly Effect,” “Sicko Mode,” “FE!N,” and even more bangers.
