Travis Scott continues to receive backlash, due to his Astroworld Festival ending with ten people dead. The stage collapse left over 300 people injured, and 10 dead, from injuries sustained. Over 300 lawsuits have been filed against Travis and the other parties involved.

Travis Scott spoke to Charlamagne Tha God over a week ago. In his first interview, since Astroworld, he emphasized that he is still open to helping loved ones who were affected. That came after many families denied his offers. The stage for the Astroworld Fest was also finally removed last week.

While being dogged over the Astroworld tragedies, Travis Scott removed the Utopia album title from his Instagram bio. With it going on a month since Astroworld, Utopia has quietly been added back into his bio. This will be his fifth studio album. Since 2015, Travis has released a new album almost every year.

In six years, Travis Scott has dropped a hit single, almost every year. Three years ago, Travis Scott dropped “Sicko Mode,” with Drake. That song topped Billboard, making him one of the most-popular rappers. Travis Scott has held that position in the years since. Now, he is pressing forward.

Prior to the Astroworld Fest situation, Travis had been promoting a future release of Astroworld, by releasing two new singles, in “Mafia,” and “Escape Plan.” Coincidentally, both of those songs were released on the same day that the festival went down.
