Travis Scott is set to shake up the music world once again with his next studio album, following the success of his critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated, Utopia. The album, which debuted last summer, became his second consecutive number-one hit, featuring an impressive lineup of collaborations with artists like SZA, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, Drake, and Rob49.

In an exclusive interview with Cultured magazine, Scott revealed he’s deeply immersed in the creative process for his upcoming album. “I’m gonna be back in New York. I’m back in album mode,” he said, expressing his excitement. “I’ve been working on music and s***every day on tour. When I’m doing the stadiums, because they’re sold out, I can see the music for what it is. I’m f*ing amped.”

Moreover, Scott’s latest comments highlight a return to his artistic roots. He explained, “We’ve always approached everything from scratch, not doing loops. Taking music back to the real raw art. Cooking things instead of having them passed down.” This suggests a significant shift in his approach, emphasizing original and hands-on music creation over recycled elements.

Meanwhile, last month, Travis also re-released his “Days Before Rodeo” mixtape on streaming platforms, for its 10th anniversary. That went on to have a massive debut, at number two.
