Travis Scott says concert in Egypt will happen at a later date, after recent sudden cancellation
Travis Scott to reschedule canceled “Utopia” concert in Egypt
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Travis Scott’s “Utopia” concert in Cairo, Egypt, the Pyramids of Giza, would be canceled. This concert was supposed to take place on July 28, which is the same day that Travis’ highly anticipated “Utopia” album is supposed to be out. Furthermore, this official cancellation also came after rumors that the country of Egypt didn’t approve of how Travis’ concerts are set up.
Meanwhile, Travis is now speaking on the cancellation, on Twitter. As a result, he wants it to take place in Egypt at a later date, and cited demand and “detail logistics” as the reasons for this cancellation occurring.
“Egypt at the pyramids will happen . But due to demand and detail logistics. They just need a bit a time to set lay on lands. I will keep u posted on a date which will be soon love you alllll.”
Travis will also released his “Circus Maximus” film in select AMC Theaters, on Friday. This film as well as the Utopia album release date were initially confirmed during Travis’ Rolling Loud Miami performance, last weekend.
