Travis Scott settles first Astroworld Festival lawsuit, with family of one of festival victims

First Astroworld Festival lawsuit against Travis Scott settled
In November 2021, Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival festival became a complete disaster. Over 300 fans in attendance were injured, and 10 also died, as a result of their injuries. Therefore, this led to over 300 lawsuits against Travis.
However, one lawsuit has now officially been settled, according to TMZ. This is said to be the family of Axel Acosta. Live Nation and others were also defendants in this lawsuit.
At the time of the festival, Axel traveled all the way from Washington state, for Astroworld. His family also revealed how big of a fan of Travis’, that he was. Attorney Tony Buzbee says that Axel’s family wants him to be remembered as a “beloved son, brother and student” who was also “kind and loving” and is “greatly missed.”
This year, Travis has been able to get back to performing again, after apologizing and creating initiatives to bring more safety, at concerts. Among these performances include the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, as well as two sold out back to back concerts in London, this past summer.
Travis is also still working on his fifth studio album, “Utopia.” As of now, there is still no official release date. Travis’ last project came way back in August 2018, with his “Astroworld” album. That included the diamond-certified “Sicko Mode” single, featuring Drake. Travis has also kicked off his “Road to Utopia” Las Vegas residency concerts, this fall.
