Travis Scott to turn himself in next week for alleged NYC assault

A few days ago, Travis Scott trended on social media, due to allegedly punching a sound engineer at a New York City nightclub. This was at Nebula in Manhattan, as Travis supposedly went off after this man, who went on to be identified as 52-year-old Mark, turned the music down in order to fix distorting sound, to help with better quality for Don Toliver’s performance.

As a result, Mark suffered neck and arm injuries, and is in the hospital. He went on to tell Fox 5 NY, that he also has pins and needles in his neck. Police soon began to investigate a police report filed against Travis, for assault and criminal mischief. $12,000 worth of damage was also said to have been caused by Travis, to a speaker and video screen. Mark has since been discharged from Jersey Medical Center.

However, Travis is now reportedly planning to turn himself in, next week, according to the New York Post. As a result, he would be questioned by police about the incident. This meeting with police would be scheduled as early as Tuesday. In the meantime, Travis is in Los Angeles now, as he will perform at Rolling Loud, on Saturday.

The likely charge for Travis is also reported to be assault. The Post added that Mark denied to speak on whether or not he will press charges or file a lawsuit.
