Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack collaboration with Dior has been postponed, due to Astroworld Festival controversy

Travis Scott continues to lose collaborations, due to the result of his deadly Astroworld Festival. Over 300 people were injured, and 10 died from their injuries, at the Houston-based festival in November.

Travis is dealing with over 300 lawsuits as a result from the festival and now, the loss of huge collabs isn’t slowing down. According to TMZ, his partnership with Dior is now on hold. Travis was initially set to work with Dior men’s artistic director Kim Jones.

This collaboration would’ve involved Travis’ Cactus Jack brand. The products with Dior would’ve been part of their summer 2022 collection. This move is said to have been made by both Travis and Dior, as the collection was supposed to have been released next month.

“Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection.”

This month, Travis’ Nike Air Max 1 sneakers were supposed to be out, but that went on to be postponed as well. That was originally set for a December 16 release.
