Travis Scott’s “Utopia” concert in Egypt to take place despite rumor

Earlier this morning, there had been reports on social media that Travis Scott was going to have to cancel his upcoming Utopia” concert which is scheduled for July 28 at the Pyramids of Giza. This is located in Cairo, Egypt. These initial reports claimed that Travis’ performance would contain concerning rituals that go against Egyptian culture.

However, according to HotNewHipHop.com, a statement from Live Nation was provided. Here, they denied the reports of Travis having to cancel this event, as they’re looking forward to this exciting time, as Travis prepares for his long-awaited “Utopia” album. Many anticipate it to finally be released, around the time of this concert in Egypt.

“There have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt; any reports to the contrary are false. We can’t wait to celebrate Utopia with you in Egypt!

Travis initially announced this concert earllier this month, as tickets sold out within 30 minutes, but more were working to get added. Furthermore, Travis added that there would be five alternative covers for the Utopia album. Merchandise and vinyls are also available for purchase.
