As an independent artist, Trev Rich has managed to make quite a big impression on the game. Emerging from Denver, Trev Rich would be the first rapper to have big success from there. Even being independent, he’s made many major connections.
Trev Rich was once working with Joe Budden, a rapper who has succeeded, independently, since leaving Def Jam. The two worked closely together, at one point. But, Trev Rich has spent most recent time working on his stuff, alone.
With his work, Trev Rich did catch the attention of some heavy hitters in the game. Birdman is always on the hunt for new artists and his label, Cash Money Records, has seen losses of Ace Hood, Busta Rhymes, Tyga, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, and many more over the past few years. He has now added Trev Rich to the label, according to Trev’s latest Instagram post.
