The Portland Trail Blazers are fighting for their playoff lives, playing the Utah Jazz. That fight got the best of one of their players, newly acquired Trevor Ariza. He thought he got fouled and went off on an official. The official was having none of it and ejected him.
Trevor Ariza had to be restrained by teammates, before he was walked off the court. The game had other incidents. Carmelo Anthony almost got into it with Royce O’ Neale of the Jazz and Anfernee Simons fell down and his head ricocheted off the floor.
While the Blazers are having good performances out of Anthony and Damian Lillard, they still have not been able to secure a playoff spot. There will be tough games like this down the road. This team is trying to scratch and claw their way up to a playoff spot.
