On Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs dominated at home again in the AFC Championship Game as they defeated the Buffalo Bills, 38-14. This clinched their second straight Super Bowl appearance and are looking to repeat as champions.

Celebrities were at Arrowhead Stadium as well and one of them was Trey Songz. The R&B star was enjoying the game but things went downhill quickly. According to TMZ, he was being heckled by some fans and that’s when a police officer arrived and ended up assaulting Trey.

Other fans nearby said that Trey soon acted in self-defense as he threw a punch and got the officer in a headlock. Trey soon ended up pinned to his seat, though. The fans also told the officer to get off of Trey and wanted him arrested instead. Other officers soon arrived as Trey ended up being the one arrested.

Trey ended up being charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. These are both misdemeanors but was also charged with assaulting an officer. That is being classified as a low grade felony.
