All week long, there have been rumblings of Trina having problems with her collaborator, Nicki Minaj. For years, there have been rumors of Nicki having problems with all fellow female rappers. Early on, there was friction with both Lil’ Kim AND Foxy Brown, but Foxy later co-signed.
Infamously, Nicki Minaj would beef with Remy Ma and Cardi B, both of which were preceded by nothing but compliments and love. When fans saw Nicki and Megan Thee Stallion getting close, they said it was likely fake. That’s when Trina’s A&R blasted Nicki over the “BAPS” video.
Finally, Trina broke her silence on the “BAPS” drama, and she said she would address matters on IG Live. Trina did so, tonight, but it wasn’t what people expected. She admitted the ball was dropped, the video wasn’t the problem, and Nicki did her part, but she said the blame is 100% on her, and no one else.
