Trina not angry with Kreayshawn’s use of N-word

Outside of Snoop Dogg and Game, the West Coast has been struggling for well over a decade. Many hip hop critics discussed the waning popularity in West Coast hip hop. Even with Snoop Dogg taking an executive role at Priority Records, the struggling continued. However, in 2011, many new artists emerged. Among the most-discussed names have been Kendrick Lamar, Lil B, Tyler, the Creator, and Kreayshawn.

All four of the rappers are controversial, but Kreayshawn has stuck out the most because she is a white femcee. Her lyrics earned her a quick following, but also made her a number of enemies in the rap game. Kreayshawn and her White Girl Mob crew is known for their offensive lyrics and the excessive use of the N-word. Veteran West Coast rapper, Game, was among those not pleased with the newcomer and threatened physical harm.

Many expected the fellow female rappers to have problems with Kreayshawn. Trina recently discussed the music of Kreayshawn and V-Nasty and she has not taken offense to their lyrics. During an interview with BET.com, Trina said she does not see what the big deal is about her music. In Trina’s eyes, Kreayshawn is not using the N-word in a racist manner, and she added she is not the person who would judge a person off lyrics.
