In the late 1990s, Trina rose to fame, trading verses with Trick Daddy, the man that kept Miami hip hop on the map. The mid-2000s saw Trina and Trick Daddy’s grip on the rap game loosen. Their efforts did ensure the city of Miami stayed on top, however.
But, the faces and names continued to change, Trina and Trick Daddy were soon virtually forgotten. In 2018, that changed, when VH1 added the “Love & Hip Hop Miami” series to their lineup. Main cast members, the show also has Gunplay on cast, and JT Money made a cameo.
Trina is back with the music, delivering “Baps,” featuring Nicki Minaj, and she came into NYC. Sitting down for an interview with Nessa, Trina discussed her song with Nicki, along with her exes. Going personal, she also spoke on being cheated on.
