Trina talks new album, “The One,” riding face, her least favorite ex, and more on “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Back in 1996, Trina showed up on Trick Daddy’s “Nann,” where she traded bars with him. That record was huge, but didn’t go too far outside of the South Florida region. Two years later, Trick Daddy returned with “Take It To Da House,” putting them both on the map.

Trina would soon establish herself as a solo artist and she dominated the early 2000s. In 2005, Trina posted her last Billboard hit single, with the “Here We Go” record, featuring Kelly Rowland. The last time she impacted radio was “Single Again,” in 2008.

Recently, Trina stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” when she would sit down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The trio first asked her about “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” before getting into the music. Their conversation was about The One, her new album, riding, her least favorite exes, and more.
