Several Atlanta-based companies have made their move into the mainstream in recent years. Gold Gang Records is the home of Trinidad James, who was the major breakout star of 2012. Rich Homie Quan is also a part of the label and he was 2013’s major breakout star.
Both rappers have helped keep Atlanta hip hop going strong over the past couple of years. While Trinidad James signed a major label deal with Def Jam and he re-released his Don’t Be S.A.F.E. mixtape. Meanwhile, Rich Homie Quan remains independent for the time being.
In their hometown of Atlanta, Trinidad James and Rich Homie Quan have taken time off to chill at the Hawks game. The Miami Heat are in town, so the Hawks are definitely hoping for a big win tonight. Trinidad James and Rich Homie Quan are doing their part to help the Hawks by heckling LeBron.
