Last week, Trinidad James caused a lot of controversy when he made some comments about the New York hip hop scene. Saying Atlanta runs New York and the game, Maino immediately spoke out against Trinidad James. The two exchanged shots on Twitter and soon Charlamagne Tha God was involved.
Trinidad James wasted no time in getting a record going, which was “L.I.A.A.R.S.,” where he took shots at Charlamagne Tha God and Peter Rosenberg. Now, it looks like New York has banded together with Trinidad James being their target. With two of the biggest DJs in New York hip hop radio dissed, the others have fallen in line.
Rumors suggest Trinidad James will have a hard time getting spins in New York City from here on out. Being fair, Trinidad James has only had one successful single to date, but he has more projects coming up. If the rumors are true, Trinidad James should forget about going to New York to promote.
