Trinidad James gets pranked for looking like Jermone on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 [VIDEO]

When Trinidad James rose to fame, several jokes about the Atlanta sensation surfaced, with one particularly popular joke. Among all the other jokes, Trinidad James was teased for looking like Martin Lawrence’s character of ‘Jerome Rome’ of “Martin.” Many agreed with this.

Detractors of Trinidad James got a good laugh after being shocked when Def Jam signed him to a $2 million deal. On the heels of his deal, Trinidad James was threatened by former “Martin” producer, Gerald Levin. As the creator of the show, Levin threatened to sue Trinidad James for infringing on ‘Jerome,’ stating “no one looks that bad on purpose.”

Later, a Trinidad Jerome video leaked, with “All Gold Everything” as the theme. During a recent interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, Trinidad James found himself the subject of another joke. Questioned about his style, a fake police officer served Trinidad James papers for his lawsuit, while quoting “All Gold Everything.”
