Trinidad James got dropped by Def Jam, reveals he is dropping his album for free

Trinidad James 12Two years ago, during this time, Trinidad James was right before emerging as the biggest breakout artist of 2012. Just getting his career organized, Trinidad James unexpectedly took off. His “All Gold Everything” single lived on and on, helping him land a deal with Def Jam.

Early in 2013, Trinidad James confirmed the deal and then he invited some of the biggest artists in Atlanta to jump on an “All Gold Everything” remix. His hopes were to release his debut album before 2013 ended. However, Trinidad James was unable to make this happen.

When the clock struck midnight, Trinidad James had some breaking, yet unsurprising, news. It turns out his run as a major label artist is over and he has been dropped from his label, Def Jam. Now a free agent, Trinidad James’ debut album is available free of charge when it drops.
