Tristan Thompson to pay Maralee Nichols monthly child support
Last year, it was revealed that Tristan Thompson was cheating on Khloe Kardashian, yet again. At the time, he met Maralee Nichols in Houston in March, which eventually led to her becoming pregnant. She gave birth late last year, as Thompson initially publicly admitted and apologized for cheating, while confirming that this is his child. This child is now 1-years-old, and named Theo. Thompson initially wanted to pay Nichols $75,000 in hush money, to not speak about having this child.
However, Nichols soon went after child support payments, against the former NBA player. Therefore, this is now a reality. According to TMZ, Thompson will be paying Nichols $9,500 per month, in child support. He even handled some of her legal fees. Both Thompson and Nichols mutually agreed to this.
As far as custody of the child, Nichols was granted sole custody. On Friday, a paternity settlement agreement is also being filed in L.A. County Superior Court.
As of now, it appears that Thompson isn’t back with Kardashian again, despite her taking him back, even after cheating, plenty of times before. Currently, Thompson is also a free agent. He last played for the Chicago Bulls, this past spring.
