Credited for helping to bring New York hip hop back to prominence, Troy Ave found an outlet for himself and then he put the entire BSB on. Currently, King Sevin is working on new material. Meanwhile, Troy Ave finds himself in an odd war of words with Drake’s new signee, iLoveMakonnen.
Troy Ave was one of the many artists to jump on “Tuesday,” iLoveMakonnen’s record that blew up overnight. Countless artists jumped on the record, helping iLoveMakonnen become a breakout artist in the game. When iLoveMakonnen was jumped in New York City, there were rumors of Troy Ave and his crew being involved.
Recently, Troy Ave paid a visit to Hot 97 and he talked to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. They confronted the iLoveMakonnen beef and Troy Ave explained exactly what is going on. After discussing the beef, Troy Ave went on to lay a freestyle for the hosts and the audience.
