At the end of last week, Tweet made headlines, and gave fans a big scare. Back in the day, Tweet worked closely with Missy Elliott and Timbaland. She was behind the big 2002 hit records, “Oops (Oh My)” and “Call Me,” the latter of which was used for a Verizon commercial.

Tweet failed to post another hit single, after such a splashy debut. She was prominently featured on Missy Elliott’s 2002 hit single, “Take Away,” before fading from the spotlight. In the years since then, she has resurfaced as a performer, doing intimate shows.

But, people close to Tweet disclosed, via social media, that the singer was hospitalized. There was something going on with her blood and the situation sounded serious. Now, Tweet is speaking for herself, and she says she is doing much better and will soon be out of the hospital.
