Twitter drags Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion getting praise for “WAP,” because Cupcakke was called “distasteful” for making “Deepthroat,” just a few years ago

Fans on Twitter have praised Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion for their single, "WAP," calling it "creative" and "empowering." However, a few years ago, Cupcakke did a song called "Deepthroat," which was heavily criticized. Twitter is calling out the hypocrisy, as Cupcakke took a lot of heat over what Cardi and Megan are being praised for.For every major star, there is the person who walked so that they could run. In 2019, Megan Thee Stallion took over the game, and people wondered why Kash Doll never properly took off. Cardi B was the only one people didn’t see coming.

Cupcakke is a female artist, who has been making noise for quite a few years. Though she is well-known, Cupcakke has never had that huge moment. Also, she isn’t exactly a household name, but fans on Twitter are arguing that she should be.

This week, Cardi B finally launched the first single from her new album, “WAP,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. Since dropping the song, the ladies have received much praise, for being empowering. However, other fans are blasting these people, accusing them of not supporting Cupcakke, with “Deepthroat,” saying she was blasted for being “distasteful” for her record, back in 2016.
