Twitter reacts to Estelle’s appearance on #EmpireFOX and her duet with Jussie Smollett

Without question, “Empire” on FOX is the move on Wednesday nights for those not going out. A show like this is a long time coming, but hip hop has an actual soap opera now. Comparable to a music-themed “Dallas,” this series wins with Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson as the stars.

However, Jussie Smollett is a breakout star from the show, playing the character of Jamal. The second son of Terrence Howard’s Lucious and Taraji P. Henson’s Cookie, Jamal is battling with being gay. In last week’s episode, Jamal came out at the all-white party.

In tonight’s episode, Jussie Smollett’s Jamal is making a power move by setting up a meeting with popular singer, Delphine, portrayed by Estelle. Each week, “Empire” would have another famous cameo appearance. This week it was Estelle and her duet with Jussie Smollett won over the internet and Twitter showed their appreciation.
