What happened in Dallas was sickening and this is not the way Americans are to conduct themselves. On a bigger scale, humans are not to act this way. It was wrong for the police to kill innocent people, but people become guilty for killing police officers.
This afternoon, the past two presidents came together, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Two different presidents and two different polices for one united cause. Times like these are when no one is a party, instead they are Americans, which always comes first in America.
Furthermore, everyone is human and that needs to be respected. This was the message both of the presidents made in their speeches. When Obama referred to the Dallas shooting an “act of racial hatred,” this really set Twitter off.
