Behind the scenes, Ty Dolla $ign was doing his thing for quite a long time, but it was last year when he really blew up. It was then when he dropped the Beach House EP. The song contained the track, “Paranoid,” which made him a one hit wonder.

Ty Dolla $ign talked to Hip Hop Vibe back in 2013, when he was pushing the Beach House 2 mixtape. This mixtape was a big deal for Ty Dolla $ign, as it was hosted by DJ Drama. He continued to rise in the time after that mixtape release.

Recently, Ty Dolla $ign made it back up to Hot 97 to talk to the morning show crew. The homie, Peter Rosenberg, returned alongside Ebro and Laura Stylez and they sat down for an exclusive interview. Ty Dolla $ign talked to them about the Summer Jam, dabbing, and the tattoos he has.
