Tyga is releasing new single with Doja Cat
In 2021, Tyga released several singles, such as “Lift Me Up” and “Mrs. Bubblegum,” Now, the Compton rapper has a huge collaboration coming this week, as his first single of 2022.
Tyga just took to social media to announce that he is putting out a single featuring Doja Cat, and will be out on February 25. He posted a photo with Doja, as he captioned it “Friday,” with several eye emojis. The title of the single has yet to be revealed, though.
This record with Doja could also be hinting at a new album from Tyga, finally arriving. The last time he put out a project was “Legendary,” back in 2019. That was Tyga’s seventh studio album, “Legendary,” as it was led by the smash hit single, “Taste,” ft. Offset. Legendary also had additional features from Chris Brown, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Gunna, Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, and more.
Over a week ago, Doja also put out a new single, “Celebrity Skin,” which was a rock record. This comes after she had a massive 2021, as she saw success with singles such as “Kiss Me More,” ft. SZA, “You Right,” ft. The Weeknd, and “Get Into It (Yuh).” All of these records appeared on her third studio album, “Planet Her,” which was the number two album in the US. Doja also has eight 2022 Grammy nominations, which is tied for second most, with H.E.R. and Justin Bieber.
