Tyga will release “The Gold Album” under EMPIRE Distribution

Long before Lil Wayne made his issues with Birdman public, Tyga aired out his issues with the label. His expression earned him an unfollowing from Nicki Minaj and disses from Drake. With his album held up for over a year, Chris Brown did a joint album with Tyga to keep his buzz up.

Tyga has had plans of releasing The Gold Album since early 2014. But, seeing how his label boss, Lil Wayne, can’t even release his album, it’s clear Tyga would have trouble securing a date. However, those who pay attention can see Tyga already made new plans.

When Tyga released his single, “Hollywood Niggaz,” the single was posted on the official EMPIRE Distribution SoundCloud page. Taking a look at the label roster, Tyga is listed and “Hollywood Niggaz” is his latest release. It is no stretch to think Tyga will release the full album, The Gold Album, under EMPIRE.
