Tyla‘s “Water” wins Grammy for Best African Music Performance 

Over the past year, Tyla has emerged as one of the biggest breakout artists in the industry. This came as a result of her “Water” single. This was inifially released in the summer, but began to soar in popularity, after the release of the video for it, in the fall.

Meanwhile. Tyla has already scored her first Grammy win. This is for her Water single, as it won in the category of Best African Music Performance. This comes as the record was a heavy favorite to win in this category, heading into Grammy Sunday.

Water also went on to have two separate remixes, in November. One was with Travis Scott, while the other was with EDM DJ, Marshmello.

Furthermore, Tyla’s Water will also appear on her upcoming self-titled debut studio album. This project is set to be released on March 1. That same month, she will also be venturing on her first headlining world tour. This will kick off on March 21, in Oslo, Norway. This is the first of eight dates on the UK/European leg of the tour. North American dates begin on April 22, in San Francisco. 19 dates will be available, as the tour will conclude on May 28, in Minneapolis, MN.
