Tyler, The Creator announces the end of Odd Future on Twitter

On the outside looking in, Odd Future was nothing more than some teenage Los Angeles kids wasting time. Led by the eccentric Tyler, The Creator, few understood what they were doing. By the summer of 2011, they understood, as Tyler was one of the biggest rappers out.

Tyler, The Creator and Odd Future enjoyed a special run during the 2011 period. The group continued to have success with Frank Ocean, who worked with Kanye West and Jay Z, before going solo in 2012. Many hoped for another strong Odd Future run.

Ultimately, Tyler, The Creator and company would be unable to capture their old magic that made them household names. Despite the success they have had, Tyler, The Creator decided to call it quits. Taking to Twitter, Tyler, The Creator revealed Odd Future is over, but his memories with the group will last forever.
