Tyler, the Creator debuts at number three with “Wolf” on Billboard 200

Tyler the Creator 2Initially, Tyler, the Creator intended to release his sophomore album during the spring of 2012. This did not happen, however, instead Tyler, the Creator held off until 2013 and the results have been positive. With a little experience under his belt, Tyler, the Creator managed to double his first week sales with Wolf over Goblin.

In the first week of sales, Tyler, the Creator has sold close to 90,000 copies in his first week. Two years ago, Goblin sold 45,000 copies in its first week of sales, but both albums were met with positive critical reviews. Critics have taken to Wolf more than they ever did to Goblin.

With the official first week numbers in, the charts have come out and Tyler, the Creator is doing well with his project. On the Billboard 200, Tyler, the Creator debuted at number three. Tyler, the Creator had a strong first week on Billboard, but was unable to outsell either Justin Timberlake or Lil Wayne.
