In the 2011-2012 period, many new artists emerged, changing hip hop’s landscape. Among them was Tyler, The Creator, who helped put LA back on the map. His own unique style has made Tyler one of the top artists in the game.

Tyler, The Creator truly pushed the envelope on sarcastic and horrorcore rap. This decade has gone by fast, in which he has dominated. Continuing to stretch creativity, he did his new album, alongside DJ Drama, and this has the people talking.

With the album out, Tyler, The Creator visited Hot 97, to discuss the new album. He sat down with Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez to discuss Call Me If You Get Lost. Tyler explained collaborating with DJ Drama, coming up with Odd Future, being slept on, and having mentors such as Jay-Z and Pharrell.
