Tyler, The Creator wins 2022 Grammy for Best Rap Album

The Grammys are going down in Las Vegas tonight, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Many awards are already being handed out, before the televised broadcast. One of them is for Best Rap Album.

Tyler, The Creator has now taken home this Best Rap Album award, for his sixth studio album, “Call Me If You Get Lost.” This project was originally released last June, as it also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It was regarded as one of the biggest projects of 2021. Call Me If You Get Lost edged out Nas, J. Cole, and Kanye West, for this award.

Call Me If You Get Lost was led by the singles “Lumberjack” and “WusYaName,” featuring NBA Youngboy and Ty Dolla $ign. 16 songs were available in total, as additional appearances on the album included 42 Dugg, Brent Faiyaz, Lil Uzi Vert, Pharrell Williams, and more. Call Me If You Get Lost was Tyler’s second straight number one album, as “Igor” hit that same milestone, in May 2019.

This spring, Tyler also venture on his “Call Me If You Get Lost Tour.” That originally kicked off on February 10, in San Diego. It will run all the way through April 8, as it’ll conclude in Seattle.
